All persons are entitled to the monthly lump sum for care aids who:

• have a recognized care level 1 to 5.
• are cared for in their own homes, either by relatives or volunteer caregivers.
• are a member of a statutory long-term care insurance fund.

Privately insured persons can also make a claim, but should check the exact conditions with their insurance company.

The lump sum covers care aids intended for consumption, including:

• Disposable gloves: For hygienic care procedures.
• Disinfectant: For hands and surfaces to prevent infections.
• Bed protection pads: To protect the mattress from moisture.
• Face mask: To protect against the transmission of diseases.
• Protective aprons: For hygienic working during care.
• Finger cots: For selective care procedures

After successful approval by the care insurance fund, you will receive the care aids delivered directly to your home every month free of charge. We take care of all the formalities with your care insurance fund.
